About the Entity
Hawa Energy (Pvt.) Limited is a special purpose vehicle incorporated in Pakistan for the development and operation of a wind power project. The company operates under the regulatory framework of the Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) and sells electricity to the national grid under a power purchase agreement with the Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA-G). The company's long-term financing was arranged through the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), now succeeded by the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
